Ted Castle, owner and operator of Castle Mortuary Transport is a 1996 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA. Ted is licensed in Tennessee and Virginia as a Funeral Director and Embalmer.  Ted has served on the Board and as Chaplain for the Virginia Funeral Directors Association and is past President of Southwest Virginia Funeral Directors Association. In 2013, Ted was voted Funeral Director of the Year by his peers.

Ted Castle has been in the mortuary transport business since 2003 and his previous experience included managing Castle Funeral Home in Bristol, VA, which was established by his father.   Castle Mortuary Transport is a well-established removal and embalming service located in Bristol, VA.  Being located on the VA - TN line, we are centrally located to many major hospitals. No matter where the death occurs, we can assist you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Our removal staff is professionally dressed and well-trained in making proper removals and we allow families all the time needed with their loved one before the removal is made.
